Cytomer Ontology Browser
Cytomer is an ontology describing the human anatomy and development and comprises morphological structures from the cell level up to parts of the body. Structures are linked to Carnegie stages and under each other with various relations.

The Cytomer ontology can be differently used, depending on the intended use. The tree below displays the class hierarchy of the ontology and gives detailed information of the selected ontology class.
OntoScope is a full featured graphical viewer enabling the user to browse Cytomer as a graph. A Java web start version of OntoScope can be launched here.

The OBA service enables access to Cytomer in a programmatic way for integration into other projects. The oba service extends Cytomer with semantic functions. More information is available on the homepage of the oba project. http://www.bioinf.med.uni-goettingen.de/projects/oba
